The Jameson Distillery Factory, ladies and gents. I will be the first to admit that I am NOT a whiskey drinker. This place had me a little uneasy with the idea of sampling 3 different whiskeys (scottish, Irish, and American) all in one sitting. So, my friends and I let our nonexistent Irish side come out to play.
We were walked through the entire process of how Ireland makes Jameson. Literally, step by step.
We learned that American whiskey is distilled once, Scottish whiskey is distilled twice, and Jameson is distilled 3 times. I know, very educational 🙂

Needless to say, I never want to see whiskey again in my life. It was a very unique experience, and I am glad I am officially an honorary Irish citizen.
